One Zambia One Nation should be a lifestyle – Ambassador Munalula Nkandu tells Diaspora Community

Zambia’s Ambassador to Brussels Prof Esther Munalula Nkandu has urged in Zambians living in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg to stay united and look out for one another.

Speaking when she hosted the Zambian Community for the 57th independence luncheon, Ambassador Munalula Nkandu said Zambians ought to honour the sacrifices that the forefathers made during the struggle for independence which ultimately birthed the slogan – One Zambia, One Nation.

She said there was need to guard and defend the freedom and the peace that the country is known for by staying united.

The Ambassador also reminded the diaspora to and the embassy officials of their respective responsibilities to contribute to the Country’s socio-economic development.

And Representative of the Association of Zambians of Belgium, Anthony Chibuye echoed the Ambassador’s sentiments on the need to stay united.

On 24th October 2021, Zambia celebrated its 57th Independence Day under the theme “celebrating a New Dawn anchored on Good Governance, National Unity and Development.
